TRACE: Contribute Samples and Data

TRACE — Tissue Retrieval and Analysis for Cancer Evolution — coordinates eligible brain metastasis tissue retrieval, matched archival primary tumor tissue/data, recurrent disease tracking, and linked clinical, imaging, pathology, and molecular data.

Prospective BrM tissue

Identify newly resected brain metastases and bank fresh, frozen, or FFPE material when consent and institutional pathways allow.

Longitudinal matching

Retrieve matched archival primary tumors, recurrent intracranial disease, extracranial metastases, normal samples, and treatment timelines.

Data readiness

Link clinical annotation, imaging, pathology, sequencing, and molecular pathology data for BRIDGE/TRACE registration and governance review.

TRACE operational workflow

  1. Identify eligible BrM case.
  2. Confirm consent/IRB pathway.
  3. Bank fresh/frozen/FFPE BrM tissue when available.
  4. Retrieve matched archival primary tumor tissue/data.
  5. Link clinical, imaging, pathology, and molecular data.
  6. Register dataset in BRIDGE/TRACE tracking system.
  7. Deposit appropriate data into public or controlled repositories.
